OVERVIEW

SPV Renfields has as its purpose the establishment of utility scale renewable energy projects in the Republics of South Africa and Namibia, targeting unencumbered sales of renewable energy resources.
Founding Goal
SPVR recognizes the relevance and importance of reliable and affordable grid-based energy fuelling the growth of the SADC Region as a thriving stable economically active industrialised society.
The region requires a concerted effort by all stakeholders to ensure that it is put on a path to mobilize sufficient new generation capacity to meet its growing demand, reduce its import vulnerability, enhance the ESI efficiency, and ensure the provision of reliable and affordable electricity to all segments of the regional economy including rural off-grid communities. The SPVR founding goals supports such initiative and to this end SPVR has taken aboard the projects listed below with others still being evaluated.

TRANSFORMATION STATEMENT

The philosophy of Transformation originated as an integrated and coherent socio-economic process aimed at redressing the imbalances of the past by seeking substantial and equitable transfer of ownership, management and control of a country’s financial and economic resources to the majority of its citizens, seeking to ensure broader and meaningful participation in the economy by black people to achieve social coherence, sustainable development and prosperity of communities.

SUSTAINABILITY STATEMENT

Electrical energy is an essential service in the eradication of poverty through economic growth whereby community stability in the SADC Region, of which the RSA is the principal anchor, may be achieved. Riaan Swiegers | Pr Eng, Hons-B.Eng.
Riaan is the managing and technical director of SPV Renfields and sole director of both APEC Consulting Engineers and CRPG. Apart from a life-time career as a professional civil and structural consulting engineer, he has over the past 15 years focussed on the enhancement of the Kyoto Protocol of 1998 in the SADC region, being active in the RSA and Namibia through project development endeavours related to compiling the wider CRPG project plan.

Johan Lombard | BA Law BA Hons
Johan is a director of SPV Renfields and has established the entity as the primary RSA based collaborator of the wider CRPG Project.

Dawid Krynauw | B. Eng, MBA
Dawid is our operations manager, a qualified mechanical engineer and experienced executive management specialist in the industrial, engineering and mining sectors. Apart from successes in strategy implementation and operational improvement projects covering the entire spectrum of SMME up to listed corporations over the past 20 years, Dawid is the author and intellectual property holder of the Gain Share approach to Consulting Services.

Alecia Lombard | B. Comm.
Alecia is our accountant, managing administration and accounts. She qualified in Graphic Design & Visual Communication, which developed into a marketing and project management career in various companies in a multi-disciplinary role.
